CPA Australia and the Australian (Sydney) chapter of ICAI will hold a landmark one-day conference on Thursday, 23 September 2025, in Sydney to explore “Bringing the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement to Life”.


This event will connect our members, community leaders, business, and government agencies to deliver practical insights and technical information on both the Australian and Indian markets. Networking sessions will also provide opportunities to build networks and share experiences.


The program will feature an impressive series of keynote addresses from distinguished speakers and expert panel sessions.

The conference will be headlined by the Hon. Anoulack Chanthivong MP, NSW Industry and Trade Minister, who will deliver a keynote address on trade relations and emerging opportunities between our two nations.

We are also honored to welcome His Excellency Gopal Baglay, Indian High Commissioner to Australia, whose keynote will offer invaluable insights into India’s strategic priorities and the evolving partnership with Australia.

Providing a sharp and timely economic perspective, Paul Bloxham, Chief Economist for HSBC, will deliver a detailed update on the regional and global trends influencing both economies.

Additionally, CPA Australia CEO Chris Freeland, alongside Board Member Professor Dale Pinto, will share perspectives on professional collaboration and economic resilience across borders.
