About the Speakers:
Kashyap Budhbhatti, FAPI, AAVI, CPV, CPV(P&M)
Kashyap is the Managing Director at B&A Valuers and a qualified property and plant & equipment valuer with over 23 years’ experience. He has gained extensive experience in full range of purposes and bases of valuation. These include valuations for the purposes of insurance, financial reporting, business combination, impairment, audit, taxation, family law, property law, commercial law, litigation, land acquisition and rating objection. Kashyap also specialises in asset advisory services like asset register reconstruction, asset reconciliation and physical verification. He has extensive experience in valuation for financial reporting purposes and is familiar and updated with relevant accounting standards such as AASB13, AASB116 and AASB136 applicable to fair value reporting. Kashyap has attended several conferences and seminars on valuation and also has presented a paper on ‘Valuation of Plant, Machinery and Equipment for Impairment’ at the International Plant and Machinery Valuation Conference in Hong Kong in 2005.
